Community Events

Being part of the Whitley community is at the heart of life at Geoffrey Field Infant School. We take pride in joining local celebrations such as the Whitley Carnival and Whitley Excellence Cluster events, which strengthen our links with families and neighbours.

Our children shine in opportunities like Aspire2 public speaking events and poetry competitions developing their voices and  creativity.

This year, we were especially excited to celebrate our school’s 75th anniversary, marking decades of learning, friendship, and community spirit.

Our School Council have achieved the status of Eco School through a range of projects and initiatives. They also had the privilege of welcoming local Labour MP Yuan Yang in June 2025 and asked her about her role and government's impact on our school.

The School Singing Club proudly represented us at the Mayoral Inauguration in May 2025.
