In the Early Years, play is an essential element of their learning and it is positively encouraged within both the indoor and outdoor environments. Quality interactions are part of our quality first teaching which allows children to develop their language, creativity and thinking skills.
Pupils in Nursery have a daily inputs linked to the different areas of learning as well as a phonics session, which focuses on developing their ability to listen to, copy and distinguish between different sounds.
Pupils in Reception have daily inputs for Literacy, Maths and phonics, as well as other areas of learning.
